I can’t speak on behalf of using this on actual skin, but this has been a great value option to learn line work and shading on tattoo skin sheets. I really like that the kit comes with a little bit of everything; I was able to get started and practice tattooing on some fake skin that I had. The gun itself works well; I don’t have a lot of experience but I was able to trace shapes and do many lines. I lie that it comes with some colored ink too which I got to play around with. Overall, it’s a great way to start since it’s low cost so it feels like a smaller commitment. I will be purchasing a more expensive machine when and if I am committed to this for a while.

Cool starter kit. All metal swashstyle machine. Smooth running comes with starter extras. Standouts are a full box of pen bags, larger black and alot of colors made by hawink/stigma. I like that it also comes with a rca cord and simple battery pack. Perfect starter kit that can do good detail work.

Got this for my husband so he could practice tattooing, so keep in mind we are not advanced however we found this kit to be more than efficient for beginners. It has everything you need to get started including gloves, ink caps, ink, needles, and even practice skin. The. Gun works very well, it’s comfortable to use and easy to setup and use. This is a good kit to practice with as its priced well. I’m happy with this kit and we look forward to using it more.
